The most meaningful moments are rarely scripted. They’re in the way your friends faces light up when they see you in your dress. In the passing looks, the steadying breaths, the calm between the chaos. So much unfolds quietly, almost unnoticed — but that’s where I’ll be, catching it all.

Let’s talk about first looks.
Not everyone wants one — and that’s totally okay. But if you’re on the fence, here are a few things my couples have loved about choosing to see each other before the ceremony:
    1  More time together.
You actually get to spend most of the day with each other, not just the few hours after “I do.” And honestly? That changes the whole vibe.
    2  It calms the nerves.
There’s something grounding about seeing your person. Most couples tell me they feel instantly more relaxed once they’re together.
    3  You get a moment that’s just yours.
The day goes fast. This is a pause — a quiet pocket of time before everything gets big and loud and full of love.
    4  You get almost all your photos done before the ceremony.
Wedding party, portraits, even family photos if they’re available — we can knock out so much ahead of time. That means less waiting around later and more time actually at your reception.
It’s not for everyone — and it’s definitely not the only way to do it right. But if you’re leaning that way? This is your sign to go for it.

This time next week I’ll be on a flight headed to my very first destination wedding 🤍 6 1/2 years ago I wouldn’t have imagined this but I go where the Lord calls me and I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve locally and beyond ✈️
