13 years as a senior photographer, Iāve seen a lot of trends come and go! š Hereās what Iām seeing right now:
10. Pink caps and gowns are HUGE right now and so much fun! Comment āpinkā and Iāll send you the one I tell all my seniors to snag š©·
9. The childhood stuffed animal trend just kills me š„¹ Love seeing senior portraits be so sentimental again. Any childhood trinket from when you were a baby is a precious thing to include!
8. BOWS š on dresses, shoes, accessories, in hairā¦Iām here for this one.
7. Colorful shoes as a statement - lots of custom Golden Goose sneakers that are so fun!
6. Florals should alwaayyysss be included if it was up to me šø But definitely seeing an increase in floral-filled shoots!
5. Websites like Nuuly are making it SO easy for seniors to rent their outfits vs having to buy everything. This is a great suggestion to make to your clients if they are struggling with what to wear!
4. College tees + pennants are making a comeback! For a few years, seniors werenāt including this in their shoots as oftenā¦loving seeing it be a priority again!
3. Iāve been saying this for awhile, but Gen Z seniors PREFER to do their own hair and makeup! I still provide recommendations for local artistsā¦but most of my clients know exactly how they like their makeup and would prefer to do it themselves. š
