The sun lights nearby hillsides but has already set in the valley. On this evening this bull looked on towards another in the final moments of daylight.

This year has been one of the best for me when it comes to capturing Canada Warblers. I feel like every individual I ran into felt that it should stop and model.

An early morning in Southern Ohio in early May have me up close and personal with a Worm Eating Warbler. This little guy was quite bother by another bird in the area and kept chasing it. Luckily one chase ended on a dead snag right in front of me.

A lifer for me this year was finding a Wilsons Warbler at Americas Biggest Week in Birding event. It was nice to finally cross some of these birds I had never seen off the list. Although I will now be on the hunt for a nice clean shot with no branches lol.

Least Flycatcher- A group I have never really paid attention to until this year is flycatchers. While they may not have the wow factor in terms of color they are pretty entertaining to watch sn**ch bugs out of mid-air

The other day we took off to a special spot that still hosts a decent population of Golden-Winged Warblers. Out of the few years I have been going this year had the best count for me. But again the Blue winged warbler was seen in almost the exact same spot as last year. Here is too hoping the Golden-winged Warblers can maintain their population up there!
