The Post and Courier announced that the Seewee Restaurant in Awendaw is seeking to sale the business after a decades-long run by a local family. I photographed Tim Penninger and his mother Mary for a Charleston Living Magazine article on Notable Charlestonians for its January 2025 issue. After working for SC Department of Transportation, and then helping take over the family business, I hope Tim can finally enjoy retirement.
