There is just something about black and white.

The distractions disappear. The details fade into the background. And suddenly, all that’s left is the feeling.

When I was putting together a few of my favorite images from Emily and Brian’s spring wedding at William Aiken House, I realized that so many of the photographs I kept gravitating toward were the black and whites.

The quiet moments. The laughter between friends. The way they looked at each other. These images have a way of stripping everything back and reminding us that emotion will always be timeless.

Emily and Brian, your wedding day was pure magic, and these frames will always be some of my favorites.

The Dress Change!!!

Lauryn and Ray’s wedding day proved that outfit changes aren’t just a trend… they’re a moment.

And in true high fashion… fashion, Lauryn gave us not one, but two incredible dress changes.

The first? A sparkly party dress that felt straight off the runway. Add in a few editorial inspired moments, and somehow she even managed to make ci******es look chic!!

The second? The perfect after party look that carried the celebration late into the evening.

Dinner is served!!

And if there’s one thing Patrick Properties Events Lowndes Grove does exceptionally well, it’s creating a reception your guests will never forget.

From glasses clinking as the wine is poured… to heartfelt toasts that leave everyone reaching for tissues… to golden sunsets over the Ashley River that somehow get better every single time… every part of the evening feels intentional, warm, and unforgettable.

Back from 2 weeks in Canada and Alaska.. and it was literally a trip of a lifetime.

There was a season in my business where I didn’t take a single day off.

And I don’t just mean not shooting weddings. I mean there wasn’t a day that I wasn’t answering emails, replying to DMs, helping students, checking in with my team, or thinking about what came next.

Looking back, I don’t regret that season for a second.

Because I knew building the business I dreamed of was going to require seasons of hustle, seasons of rest, and sometimes a strange mix of both.

Somewhere along the way, my dreams became more defined. More aligned with the life I actually wanted to live. My circle became smaller by intention. My priorities became clearer. And for the first time, my business started pouring back into me just as much as I was pouring into it.

It’s a feeling I never take for granted. I’m incredibly thankful for this season.

Just as I’m thankful for the version of me you saw showing up on stories every single day. The version that spent hours filming personalized tutorials because someone in my DMs needed help with social media. The version that said yes to almost every opportunity because I knew exactly where I wanted to go, and I was willing to do whatever it took to get there.

Every version of this journey mattered.

These days, I share a little less. I’m a little quieter. I say no more often. I protect my peace, my family, and my creativity in ways I never used to.

If you’ve been here through every season... from the constant IG stories, daily reels, tik tok trends and daily education to the quieter version of me you’re seeing now... THANK YOU!

You’ve been part of this journey in ways you’ll probably never fully know. And I truly wouldn’t be here without every single one of you.

Fall season.. I am rested, inspired and SO ready for everything to come!

The night before.

Lauryn and Ray welcomed their family and friends to Parcel 32 to kick off their wedding weekend in the best way possible.

The drinks were flowing, the brisket was being carved (because as Texas residents, there really was no other option 🤠), and every conversation was filled with the kind of excitement that only comes when all of your favorite people are finally together in one place.

There is something so special about the night before a wedding. The timeline slows down, the anticipation builds, and for one evening, everyone gets to simply soak it all in before the celebration officially begins.

Truly the perfect way to spend their last night as fiancés.
