I was waiting for this wedding all year 😍 the iconic Hermitage Hotel, the wonderful Anna Galloway & Mitchell tying the knot, a gorgeous church wedding at The Village Chapel, details for DAYS that shows how perfectly curated the day was for their guests to enjoy, the beautiful weather and blue skies, the sweetest toasts by their favorite people, and the sendoff of dreams (and possibly my favorite sendoff photo ever????)

All tied up in a lovely lovely day that brimmed with joy and laughter and tears and silliness!!!

They’re getting married!!! 💍🍾🥂

I’ve known Seth since he was in Kindergarten (our families have lived across the street from each other basically our whole lives), so being able to photograph this big moment for him and Shannon was soooo sweet (and of course I was texting his sisters the entire time duh) - what a lovely day and Shannon was so surprised!!!

A lovely lovely morning with two precious people!!!

The Huffs are married!!! 🥂

They tied the knot at their gorgeous home church and ran out to millions of bubbles surrounded by ALL of their favorite people (aka HUNDREDS of people!!)

And thennnn we ended their evening over at the Tennessee State Museum (simply GORGEOUS as a wedding venue!) with a beautiful inside/outside cocktail hour on the second floor followed by a reception that truly didn’t stop - they’re people showed up!!

Truly what an HONOR it was to photograph their big day!! These are just a snapshot of everything but every detail was truly so perfect and so beautiful :) congrats you two!!

Getting people to not hate taking engagement photos is one of my favorite things to do, and so even though Tyler told me at the start of the session that he wasn’t a huge fan of photos, he was a great sport about it and I mean look at these!! He’s genuinely smiling and laughing and that’s all Dana!!

These two are silly and goofy and we chatted the whole time and I just LOVE how these turned out, and I can’t wait to photograph their big day in a few short weeks!!!!

THEY’RE ENGAGED!!! 💍🥰🫶🏾🥂

When Peter reached out to me about proposing to Paxton Herod , I squealed with joy!! It’s one thing to photograph strangers’ proposals (which don’t get me wrong, I love), but there’s something richer about seeing your friends find their favorite person and getting to be there to photograph it all :)

Paxton, I’m sorry there was some lying to throw you off but EEEPPPP I’m so excited to get you guys married!!!

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Walsh!!!! 🥂

Jordan and Kathleen’s story started off on Hinge and blossomed into the incredible relationship they have today. Their wedding was full of color and laughter and silly moments and happy tears and soooo many friends cheering them on (seriously, swipe for their incredibly large and supportive wedding party!!! They’re so loved!!)!

A perfect perfect day :)

Oh, and Kathleen Palmer gets bonus points for being the bride I most spontaneously see around Nashville!! Love running into her!!

The Summeys!!!!

Oh what a lovely day celebrating Megan and Jon getting married at The Venue at Birchwood!!

I LOVED their incredible florals, the color scheme, the perfect golden hour, and how relaxed these two were so they could enjoy the day. Their ceremony was beautiful and proclaimed the Gospel so beautifully and it was such a joy to see their friends come together to celebrate them!!

I was driving through Germantown yesterday and was reminded of how PERFECT Megan Kim & will_kweon ‘s engagement session there was!!!

They were silly and the area was dreamy and we roamed a tiny little market and they ran around like little kids with their first crush and I only want to do fun silly little sessions like this :)

It was perfect.
I can’t wait to get them married next month!!!!!!!

Stunning views, stunning couple, stunning dress!!!

Mae & Adam convinced me, quite easily, to have their engagement session somewhere whimsical and unique — Rock City! It was so fun to play with the light and the views and all of the unique architecture, and I love how romantic these feel!!!!

A 10/10 day and I can’t wait to photograph their elopement real soon too!!!
