On a recent shoot with a great Senior Student. We were able to use off-camera flash to capture this amazing image. This shot is actually captured in two stages. The first was capturing the background image, where we were able to bring out the amazing detail and light that you see in this image. The second image I used flash to light our student to bring the focus back to him. Finally, both images were blended together in post-production. Some of our recent Senior Student work. This year was very busy, and I am just now getting to the point where I can post about a few of our sessions. I had the incredible privilege of working with an amazing photographer on a recent job. I also invited him to attend the Sony Creative Space Event, which was fantastic. While setting up lights for a location shoot at a local business, I captured this portrait of him.

Kim and I had an amazing time on this photoshoot. Life of a travel photographer. All images were taken at USC in Columbia, SC. The image that looks like it was taken at night was taken at 930AM. We used Godox Strobes to create the lighting effect and to darken the background. One Godox AD200proii for the key light and a Godox V1 with CTO for the edge fill light. In all the images, we used one AD200Proii to create the soft lighting effect. Congratulations to all the graduates this year!

Spent the day on Tuesday at USC Columbia to capture graduation pictures of a two wonderful young lady's. One of the girls dads was able to capture some behind the scenes pictures for me. The before and after photograph turned out great. My photo shoots typically look like a Hollywood production. Lighting is a big part of my visionary process. The visuals of what the camera can see and what my mind can see are typically hard to explain until they see the finished print. I might offer a local class on this...
