I started in high school taking photos for the schools news paper & yearbook developing my own B&W 35mm film. I have since made the switch to digital and I am loving every minute of it. So follow along and see where the new stories take us.

LOWVELO ’25 has come and gone, and my heart is still full. Every mile from the ride reminded me why I ride — for my dad, for the people we’ve lost, and for the ones still fighting.

I’m grateful for the support, the encouragement, and the love that surrounds me every year during this ride. It means more than I can put into words.

I’m sharing a few more pictures from the day, and if you still feel led to donate, fundraising stays open until the end of December.

Got a short ride in today to get used to the cold weather. It was a little chilly, but it felt good to get out there. Tomorrow is LOWVELO, and I’m proud to be taking part in my 4th ride to raise money for cancer research.

As most of you know, my dad lost his fight with cancer in November 2023. Tomorrow, I’ll be riding in his memory. The past two years, I’ve had so many mixed emotions leading up to and during this event. I used to call Dad after each ride to tell him how it went — something I miss deeply.

I may not be able to make that call anymore, but I know he’ll be right there with me on the road tomorrow. Riding in his memory, and for everyone who continues to fight, gives each mile a purpose. Together, we ride with hope for a day when no one has to lose someone they love to cancer. 💙💙💙

National Lighthouse Day is a special day for me. As most of you know my father lost his fight to Prostate Cancer back in 2023, but he also loved lighthouses. Today I am sharing 3 lighthouses:
1. Sullivan’s Island Lighthouse (Sullivan’s Island, SC)
2. Morris Island Lighthouse (Folly Beach,SC)
3. The tattoo in memory of dad. The splash of blue is for prostate cancer awareness. The number is the days from when I was born till the day he passed.
