There are so many pieces of your day that are uniquely you. One way to show off the effort you put in prior to your day is your invitation suite!

While I always photograph you putting everything on and applying, it’s so fun to see it all laid out in an intentional way.

Take Erika’s invitation suite and details for example: her theme color was blue, and it was carried out throughout her whole day. From touches of blue in her florals, to blue bridesmaid dresses, and a coastal wedding, it was the perfect color to weave through their story.

Invitation suites set the tone for your guests on what to expect for your wedding. Why not take the time to reach out to an artist and make your suite everything you ever dreamed of?

Some of you golf fans (or if your partner is into golf and has been talking about the tournament this weekend) may recognize this backdrop, as the course for the 2026 PGA championship starting today until Sunday! Since my husband, daughter, and I will be attending the final round Sunday I thought it was only fitting to spotlight this awesome venue & couple, of course!

Glen Foerd, if I could write a love letter to you I would. From the beautiful getting ready space, to a sun-drenched side room, to the river-front ceremony space, and the perfect party tent— what is there not to love?? This venue has the historic charm, but with a separate space to keep the party going all night (within reason because of it being in a neighborhood but still). If this is importantly to you, look no further than this amazing place!! Excited to be back here next year to capture more beautiful memories for my couples!

Dearest gentle readers,

As we begin this here 2026 wedding season, all eyes are on Amy & Ben as they waltz into their wedding day with the utmost poise and grace. The first of many to be wed this season.

But on a real note, I am so excited to document their wedding Friday! After almost 4 months away, I’m so excited to be surrounded by love, and palpable energy radiating from everyone. This is definitely a wedding you won’t want to miss, especially Amy’s wedding day fashion!

With the return of wedding season (for me) next week, I would be remiss not to reflect on the off season and what it brought for me and my little family this year. As many of you know, I was pregnant during last wedding season, and we welcomed our sweetest bundle of joy in January! Since then, we’ve been soaking in the newborn stage, and she will officially be three months old on the day of my first wedding!!

From being showered with love in November, to welcoming our girl in January, to experiencing so many firsts (Valentine’s Day, her first smile, both mine & my husbands birthdays with her, Easter) I am so grateful to have had this time with her in our little bubble.

I am also so excited to get back to doing what I love— traveling and capturing my beautiful couples, all while getting to bring her along for (some of) the ride! So, as a formal introduction, her name is Lucia, our new assistant at LJP, even though she probably won’t be holding a camera for a few years.

To my 2026 couples, I am so excited to capture you all in your uniqueness, and memorializing all of those special moments. I cannot wait to see you all so soon 🤍
