One of the many memorable moments I’ve had as a photographer will most likely be not what you’d expect 😅. Sometimes the best moments are the funniest and most inconvenient ones 😂. Looking at this cute family photo taken in the sunflower fields, you would have zero idea the awkward position I was voluntarily in…crouched down in the dirt next to a bunch of sunflowers trying to get the perfect shot. AND to top it all off, it was mid July and if you’re in SC…you know exactly what I’m talking about 😂. By the time I was done with client sessions, I’ll admit I was sweating SO bad. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized after looking down that my legs were COMPLETELY covered in sunflower seeds along with pretty much everywhere else 😂. But was it totally worth it? Uhh..I think this wholesome family moment captured speaks for itself 🥰.

Recently I had the amazing opportunity to be the photographer for the Charleston Women’s March. To say I was absolutely honored is an understatement. Regardless of the weather being 96+ degrees, we all sweat through it and marched together. Being surrounded by so many powerful women using their voices to make a difference in the world was truly an experience I will never forget ❤️

Hey there, it’s me!
I definitely don’t post myself enough on here so I figured why not start with our most recent trip to Iceland! I also wanted to introduce myself to any new followers ☺️

Funny back story behind this photoshoot…I just happened to book our trip in one of the coldest weeks of June seen in the last 50+ years 😬…But of course in my mind…I’m thinking that I’m Elsa from Frozen and can deal with the cold for at least 40+ minutes…WRONG! Within the first 5 I could not feel my toes and by 15-20 minutes I was practically running to the car to change into warmer clothing 😂 Despite the weather hiccup…our photographer .is was truly amazing! If you do plan on traveling to Iceland please don’t hesitate to reach out to him!

My husband and I promised to do as much traveling as possible and experience different parts of the world and the beautiful cultures 😍 I cannot stress enough how important photography is in having the ability to take those special life changing moments and freeze them in time to look back on!
