August can’t slip away just yet. 💛

This summer has been too sweet to say goodbye to. Just give me some more beach days and warm nights before it's over.

So happy I got to photograph the sweetest beach engagement session before these two moved back home.

My couple was in Charleston visiting family, and honestly, the weather was not looking good leading up to our session. It poured on and off all day, the sky was dark, and it would’ve been easy to reschedule.

But we decided to embrace it, and I’m so glad we did. The rain stopped, and the skies opened up just enough.

I can always brighten and warm photos a bit in editing, but there’s something about a cloudy, moody day that you just can’t recreate. 🌧️
