I almost didn’t share this because my “stats” this year didn’t look the way I thought they should especially when comparing them to others. They weren’t higher than last year, and they didn’t show the kind of growth that’s easy to measure. But then I realized this year WAS my biggest growth yet.
In 2025, I followed my dreams and moved 1,260 miles away at 22 years old fresh out of school, knowing almost no one but my brother, without a job lined up and with only about two sessions on my calendar. I started over in a new place, built from the ground up, and trusted my dreams even when the path felt uncertain.
Yes, my session numbers looked different but growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about choosing differently. Finding yourself. Choosing courage. Choosing change. Choosing to bet on yourself even when others may have doubts.
I love where I am, I’m proud of what I’ve built so far, and I’m so grateful for EVERY client who trusted me during this season of change. This year reminded me why I started photography in the first place.
Here’s to 2026, continuing to chase my passion and grow back into full-time photography, one step at a time📷🍾✨
