Out here in Utah and the scenery is amazing. I've been looking for a place nearby to shoot sunsets. I shot this the other day. The light was blocked a bit from the west. I don't know if the blockage was a hill or just other clouds. I was hoping it would get better but it didn't. Also, playing with some different edits. This is using a preset from Serge Ramelli Photography. Not sure yet how I feel about it. The edit makes it look pretty and interesting but it didn't really look like this. Thoughts?

Well I've neglected this page for quite some time now. The little I do post ends up on my Instagram page or my personal page. I see some of you here are not following my Instagram. You may want to check it out. I'm not really shooting sports professionally anylonger as my niece and nephew have both graduated college. Now its back to landscapes, travel and stuff that interest me. Maybe I'll post more here, maybe not..... I've been photographing my niece playing soccer for 14 years. Tonight was her last high school game. We both hoped that she would get a couple more. I got serious about sports photography to get a better seat to watch her and her brother play. And play they did! It's been amazing watching them through the lens get better and better. I hope to shoot them some more while they play for their colleges but I'm going to take a break from high school sports for a while. I may do an occasional game if I'm around and have time but now it's time to get back to working on my landscape photography!

I made it back to FedEx Field on Sunday and photographed when Adrian Peterson tied Walter Payton for fourth all-time with his 110th-career rushing touchdown. He also became the 10th player in NFL history to reach 3,000-career rushing attempts. Wooohooo! No more tryouts. Real football starts tonight! The Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears for the start of the 100th NFL season. Wish I was there to shoot it. Here is a pic from 2018.

The majority are a team of 3 riders on the same bike for a 2 hour enduro. Then a few of a normal race with them on their own bikes.

One last lacrosse game to wrap up the year. This was the BOYS SENIOR ALL-STAR GAME held at Evergreen Sportsplex in Leesburg. The start was delayed due to lightning but it made for more enjoyable temperatures. This was by far the fastest game I've ever seen. Not the typical pass the ball around waiting for an opening.
