"Oh my gosh Courtney, I don't even know what to say.. these pictures are AMAZING!!! At first I thought I'd get through them without crying, but then I ended up sobbing, lol! He has truly been my best, most loyal friend for so mean years; never failing to be there for me when I needed him.. at times he felt like my only friend. I don't think I've ever even known a person as well as he and I got to know each other. Sounds weird, but I don't even know how to explain it. And I don't need to, because you managed to do that for me. And any time I want to remember - to keep it fresh in my mind - I can just go and look at these remarkable gifts you've just given me. You literally and so perfectly captured the very unique and special bond we share. I honestly don't know how to thank you." -Sami

I was more than happy to capture this moment in time for Sami. Buddy gave her the signs that his time on earth was coming to a sad end. One of the reasons I love photography is being able to give the gift of a permanent moment in life. 4 days after she received her photos, Buddy left for Heaven. Rest in peace, Buddy.
