During a recent WV Citizen Action Group meeting regarding data center plans for Southern WV, Mingo County native Bobby May hovered the topic of clean water in Southern WV. He thanked the efforts of local pastors, like Brad Davis, speaking up for those in the coalfields who feel left behind. The former coal miner questioned who would protect our kids and grandkids from a hazardous environment if we won’t.

It’s 2026, no one in the United States of America should have to worry about water insecurity.
