I found 16 rolls of lost film last year, so I thought I should learn how to scan my own negatives. Especially since I still shoot film & it’s a very expensive hobby! Here are some of my first scans from our trip to Tuscany.

Llala said that getting ready pics were not important to her. I loved her chill attitude, I knew I wanted to arrive early so I could document her with her mom naturally. The venue fashioned a large “closet”for brides to change, and the intimacy it created was really special.
I no longer shoot weddings the way the traditional photography industry way covering 8 to 14 hours. l

Low light study with opal apples & my grandmother’s stoneware collection. I inherited it whilst still living with her in my 20’s. I always admired them and she loved how I would talk about each piece, how I could see how an artist held each piece and painted each one. They were all slightly different. I love them!

Family 💗 🙏☀️ with .alegre1
Thank you Alyssa for still choosing me to photograph your family after 13+ yrs. I never take my relationships for granted, and I always feel grateful when families come back! 🙏💗🙏💗
It’s moments with my families that have known me for over 10 yrs that have helped me to make some progress & choices to develop my business! I am excited to share that I have hired my daughter to help me roll our an Ambassador program! I have & to thank for providing the framework to get me started on development. 💗📸🙏💗🦋

Archives: 2010. Emma, Durham pond. Original JPG’s No edits & I love them. 🥰💗
When I first started taking client appointments in 2010, I shot 📸 with the Canon Rebel xS 10 MP & 50 1.8. My edits were a bit heavy handed since I used PS Elements, and I couldn’t quite master the natural look, I Loved those ACTIONS!
I found the original JPG’s and these are a few of my favorites. It just goes to show you that u don’t need expensive gear to create beautiful portraits. You need good light.
This was my favorite place to photograph my daughter. This was her childhood friend Emma. They are both at University now almost 20 yrs old now! 🍁💗🍁
