Fresh 48 sessions will forever have such a special place in my heart.
There’s just something about those first couple of days. The hospital bracelets. The IVs still attached. Visitors coming in to meet the newest little person. A tiny baby with a full head of hair. Mom moving around after bringing an entire human into the world. The little details, the tired smiles, the snuggles, and all of the beautiful in-between moments.
Nothing is perfectly posed. Nothing needs to be.
It’s just real. Raw. Beautiful.
Those first 48 hours feel like they last forever while you’re living them, but somehow they’re gone in an instant. And believe it or not, you forget pieces of them. I know I have. I still look back at the Fresh 48 photos from my own babies and find little details I had completely forgotten.
That’s why I love these sessions so much.
You’re not just taking pictures of what your baby looked like. You’re capturing what those first days felt like.
