Where Memories Begin! I enjoy looking for the extraodinary in the common, everyday scenes of life, but I also relish in the grandeur that nature provides.

I've been documenting in photos the places I've been over the past 35 years, but only recently have begun to develop it into something more. I hope, through my photographs, to capture the creative wonder that we so often overlook.

The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge dates back over two hundred years. I always enjoy seeing it at night whenever I am back home.

I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of my dear friends Marc Kovner and Will Himel this past Saturday. It was a gathering of friends and family, old and new, where old friends became family and family became friends. It was truly a special time. They have agreed to let me share some of those with that "special touch". These are some of my favorites from that afternoon.

This year, I hope to share some of the stories behind the pictures. In my first photo of the new year, I want to feature my good friend Ken. The painting behind him is of his former, longtime partner, Gene. Ken and Gene met in London in 1965 and spent the next 37 years together in a loving and committed relationship. In 1968, Ken emigrated to the U.S. and joined Gene in Dallas, TX. Gene died in 2002 and Ken says that he misses him more than ever. It is quite common to hear Ken reminiscing about the love of his life. Today, January 2, would be Gene's 97th birthday.

it's been awhile since I've posted any pictures, but that's about to change. Recently I returned from vacation in Germany and will be sharing some of my pictures here. This is the cathedral in Magdeburg.

Something different. In lieu of new and recent inspiration, I am revisiting some of my lesser liked photos and discovering something new in them utilizing some post processing skiills. This is a photo of the Rosslyn, VA skyline I took a while back. I have also included the orignal as I shot it.
