Take a look at what we’ve been working on behind the scenes! You’ll get a small peek at how I run my circus, working right alongside my monkeys.

What a fun weekend of fall sessions! Here's a peek behind the scenes of my own kids' Autumn Acres Truck session that I was able to squeeze in. This is what I've had in my head since I first decided to use this backdrop. It's always a joy to see it come together, and the kids were THRILLED to have their chickens included in their photos. I've even been asked if we can do it again sometime.

Please note that these chickens will not be available for client sessions. These are their pets who tagged along. If you're interested in scheduling an Autumn Acres Truck session with us, you are welcome to bring your own pets. Please reach out so we can go over the details in advance though. Also, I strongly encourage you to bring an extra person to help manage your furry and feathered friends. Speaking from experience. 😅 My Monday was fueled by caffiene and Advil.

As the saying goes, “the best things come in several packages”…right?? 📦

I can’t wait to share what we’ve got planned for the upcoming Christmas season, so stay tuned for updates!

For now, I bet you can’t spot my apprentice, who is definitely not creepy at all. 😂

When searching for a photographer, people often ask for someone who will offer either a candid, lifestyle session or a traditional, posed session. My favorite family sessions are a blend of both.

Family photos can be posed and genuine, timeless and intimate. There's no need to choose one over the other. What matters is capturing your family as they are, in this moment. There's more than one way to accomplish that.

We love to go out and have fun with the families we work with. We'll capture the silly, playful moments, the warm, familiar glances, and the sincere emotion of the day.

We will also take the time to guide your family into poses that are flattering and aid in telling the story of your family. We'll talk with you to ease you into feeling less like you're performing. This is especially helpful for those who are a little more reserved or generally uncomfortable being the subject of so much attention.

Starting with a vision and clear direction on how to achieve that vision, we'll let the story unfold from there. But through it all, we'll be your guide.

We're not just here to capture your family portraits. We're here to create them.
