i've been on a bit of a hiatus here for some time to personally and professionally reset.

i've been hard at work exploring how systematic racism affects my brothers and sisters of color and doing the work to speak up, contribute and listen+unlearn.
i have also been:
updating+refreshing my portfolio,
being a badass single momma to my two amazing teens about to start their next year of highschool [online] in the midst of a pandemic,
writing+healing my way through , and speaking LOUD about it all,
enjoying a beautiful and healthy relationship with a wonderful partner
and busier than ever with clients and personal creative projects- including my creation and content collective, The Fates Co. together with my incredibly talented babe Byrophoto.
i'm back.

met a couple dear friends for happy hour the other day at The Sleepy Whale in and absolutely fell in love with this place. knowledgeable and hospitable staff, a beautiful and selection AND you can get tacos delivered straight to your face from their neighbors Ghett' Yo' Taco !! 🙌🏽🌮🍺 i may just have to move in and live there forever kthx

finally had an opportunity to visit Spooky's Swirls, a totally gluten free and -themed bakery in Chandler AZ - yes, you read that right, how awesome is this?! i mean, any day you get to enjoy breakfast with gremlins is a damn good day.

not only are there delicious sweets and eats themed after films like Stephen King's Carrie [with a blood red raspberry filling inside a magically delicate yet sturdy cupcake with a perfect crumb+frosting crown…], there is also a mini museum of props and memorabilia from the Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association [an Arizona-based nonprofit organization, ].

definitely worth a visit and a horror film binge once you get home.

i love these moments in weddings- the pause, the deep breath before the show. the moment you remember that this is all for you, for each other. the moment nobody else exists but you and your love.

enjoyed a gorgeous time in palm springs this past weekend- it is quickly becoming one of my favourite haunts. who wants to do a shoot there?! so many perfect hidden gems and buildings and botanicals to play with. 😍
