Some photos become more meaningful with time.

Back in April, Jen reached out wanting photos with her best friend, Keo. Not because anything was wrong, but simply because he was family. Her constant companion. Her shadow. Her heart in four-legged form.

Just over a month later, Keo crossed the rainbow bridge.

Looking through these images now feels different. What was once a fun session between a girl and her dog has become something far more precious… a collection of memories frozen in time.

As photographers, we often talk about preserving moments. This is why. Because sometimes the photos we take today become the memories we hold onto tomorrow.

Jen, thank you for trusting me with these. And thank you for sharing a little piece of the incredible bond you and Keo had. ❤️🐾
