What we do matters.

This isn’t much of a very aesthetic picture, heck it was taken on my iPhone. However, this moment at the Lincoln County Premium Sale caught me off guard in the best way possible.

Often as livestock photographers, it think it’s easy to feel like some of the unsung heroes of the industry, going unnoticed as long as we’re doing things correctly, acknowledged when an error is made or there’s something to complain about.

I just want to say how THANKFUL I am that I have felt in large the exact opposite this spring. This little reminder from an exhibitor was exactly what I needed in the middle of a little sleep, LOTs of work few weeks.

I am so incredibly grateful to the show committees, contractors, exhibitors & families who trust my team and I with their priceless moments. It truly is the backbone of my business & the heart behind MBC.

So all those out there like me grinding away this spring, what we do matters, & HOW we do it matters even more. 🫶

Just like it takes multiple flicks to make the perfect scrapbook, it takes a lot of moving parts to get your exhibitors the best photo coverage possible.

I am so grateful these lovely ladies are taking time out of their busy schedules to join the MBC team at Lincoln County this week — covering the Dairy show to the livestock judging contest and everything in between!

Our staff includes Delia Crawford, Molly Meek, Jolee Taylor, and Emily McGough (and of course me, Madi B. 😉), and we are ridiculously excited to welcome interns Phalen Cary and Sophia Estrada!
