ABOUT ME
I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn't have a camera in my hands. From my grandpa's Canon FP that I took photos of the floor, teddy bears, my dolls, and whatnot to my first SLR, a used Nikon F3 which I dropped so many times that it looked terrible but still shot beautiful photos. My first DSLR was purchased in early 2000 and I've been taking digital shots ever since. C.'s blac
k and white photo class and I loved it. We even developed our own film and learned editing techniques. I still remember the stinky smell of the developer, fondly, believe it or not. I sometimes miss the hands-on of developing a roll of film but digital technology offers such a great instant view of your shots that it's hard not to love. Like I said, I learned many editing techniques that required chemical treatments but Photoshop offers so much more. I can now take a great photo and turn it into a stunning one that my clients will love for always. I have a great Nikon and some amazing lenses but that alone does not make me a professional photographer. My knowledge of how to use my camera out of auto mode, artistic background, Photoshop skills, and natural talent at recognizing a good shot get me closer to that status, but not considering myself a professional is why my pricing is competitive and fair. I am by no means a hobby photographer. I love taking photos and I take it seriously. Hire me if you love my photos. If you hate them then don't hire me, there are so many talented photographers out there, I am confident you will find one that is perfect for you!
