“whenever someone wanted to talk about something serious, i’d run and hide. i learned that it was a protective mechanism and that my nervous system didn’t have the capacity to open up. my therapist is good, but i wrote this song in one of my moods when i just didn’t wanna talk and wanted everyone around me just to leave me alone.”
