Jim Morrison "Try to set the night on fire" mural in Venice Beach. This isn't part of my "Painted On" project but it's pretty cool though! I found this while I was searching for the mural most people are familiar with a few blocks away.

I noticed these plants in back of where I work and was inspired to take a few images. They didn't have much color to them so thought they looked better with a black and white treatment.

Anywhere I go, I'm always drawn to bicycles! Whether they're used for their intended purpose or they're used for decoration, they're beautiful works of art! They're also a perfect piece of mechanical engineering that's virtually unchanged for several decades. To me, the camera is the same thing. Combining the two, I've decided to begin a project of bicycle images starting with this one. It's not been ridden, I'm guessing, for several years and is now relegated to decoration but still beautiful!
