A big congratulations to Ryan Granucci and Saki Tanabe on their proposal and engagement! They went to Point Vicente Interpretive Center, which is where they went on their first date together. He showed her an illustrated book of places where they've gone together, and of future places to go to. And at the very end of the book was the page with the ring. He then proposed to her, and she said yes!
As his girlfriend didn't know who I was, I acted as a photographer taking photos of the "scenery" up until he proposed. It was definitely a special time to witness the proposal!
Thank you for choosing K-Tori-Photography as your photo provider. May the Lord richly bless you in this new season!

I had the immense privilege and oppurtunity to take my first ever Engagement Shoot with John and PascalEe this last Saturday. We went to Irvine Regional Park for an "Up' themed session, and we also went to Crystal Cove Beach near sunset for a sunset session.
These are two of my role models and they have supported (and still support) me in my faith immensely. May the Lord continue to bless their time of Engagement!

P.S. Look out for a blog post on this shoot later this week!

"Hugs for Hope" is a non-profit started by Jenna Tomita and is geared toward bringing hope to families who have children with cancer. Hugs for Hope provides children with personalized bears and their families with gas/ grocery gift cards in hopes to encourage and support them in their difficult time.
Hugs of Hope understands that the ultimate hope for these families is the hope found in Christ. HFH aims to use its services to not only bring hope and encouragement, but ultimately Christ to families affected by cancer.

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
John 13: 34-35

Each year around 17,500 people are trafficked into the U.S. each year, and between 300,000-500,000 American-born children are coerced into child prostitution.

Freedom House focuses on bringing HOPE, RESTORATION, and a NEW LIFE to victims of human trafficking

It was a privelege to take part of this event by taking some photos. This was an awareness night consisting of worship, intercessory prayer, informational talks, and poetry performances. Hosted by CSULB AACF and PCJC Genesis

"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."

What if you were to try and look at people through God's eyes? I have this notion that it would be too much to bear. I have a feeling that perfect love would drown our eyes in tears because we're not used to seeing people in such beautiful light. I hope as days progress, I can progress to see people how God sees them; with grace-filled eyes.

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. [John 17:20-21 ESV]
