Graduation season is upon us and nothing can stop the smiles and excitement that await!! Congratulations Brooke Syer great things will be coming to you!!

Movement is always a key part of my photos, so we tried some High School Musical jumps and the traditional cap toss! Disclaimer she is a CrossFit athlete and no high heels were harmed in the taking of these photos.

Christmas is almost here and sometimes you have families that don't want to send out holidays cards but want to capture memories in other ways.

Although cards are fun to receive in the mail being there in the holiday moment is also fun.

Had a fun home session with this mother son duo and their cats for about 60 seconds. They certainly hated their new Christmas sweaters and scattered away as fast as they could.

Typically with kids, there is a short time to warm up to the camera. We take a couple test shots, play around at first and get them acclimated to our family session. Adults (most) are good about just smiling.

However with these kiddos they were more than happy to pose for the camera! It was nice to work with such professionals, the younger one even asked me when I was coming back to take his photo again.

Amazing family session in the park with the Amaro family! It was quite windy that day, but we used that to our advantage...

Amazing family session in the park with the Amaro family! It was quite windy that day, but we used that to our advantage. No hair or fly aways in their faces. All Beyoncé moments with the wind assisting graciously.

When shooting conditions are rarely ideal, but in the moment you have to go with what you are dealt. Also making great in the moment fun!

When your client wants to do something a little different, you think outside the box. I love getting the chance to be creative and doing shoots at other locations than the beach or local park. We had a fun family session at the Cerritos Sculpture Garden.

This little guy was ALL smiles!!!

All though... I do miss the beach and am still looking for a family to do a winter shoot.
