There’s something about a small town Christmas that just feels a little more magical. This year’s Christmas on Commerce sessions are inspired by that cozy, nostalgic Hallmark movie feeling.

I remember before I started this business… when I would take pictures of my girls at home, just because I wanted to remember.

The little milestones. The messy moments. The way they looked at eight months, two years, four years old. I wasn't thinking about light or composition or editing style. I was just a mom, trying to hold onto it all.

And now, here she is about to turn 8!

Before we walked out the door for these, she asked if she could wear her yellow and pink sunglasses.

I told her I’d rather she didn’t because the yellow didn’t really “go” with my editing style.

And she looked at me and said, “But Mom… this is my vibe.” My two favorite colors are pink and yellow.

Then I realized..
This is why I take photos in the first place
To remember who she is right now.

I’m so glad she didn’t let me change her mind just because I was worried about "an editing style. "

She knew her vibe.

And I hope she always does. 💛🩷

FALL SHORT STORY SESSIONS 🍂
are releasing Monday at 11 am to my e-mail subscribers first before they go live to the public.

And this year, I've decided to do things a little differently, and I'm so excited about it. I wanted to give my clients more time together—to slow down, breathe, and truly be in the moment instead of feeling rushed. Because of that, all of my Fall Mini Sessions will now be 30 minutes instead of 15. With the extra time, we'll be able to create photos that feel more relaxed, genuine, and full of connection.

I'm also excited to now include complimentary styling guidance along with access to my client closet.
