It’s been one month since we lost a beautiful soul. Even though it’s hard knowing that I will no longer get to hear your laugh or your beautiful singing I am comforted by the memories and love we shared. Looking back at these photographs I am at ease knowing that the life we shared together was filled with so much laughter and love through life’s ups and downs. Growing up my abuelita had her way of showing love and affection but later in life I realized that it was the tough life that she experienced that made her the strong woman she was. As the years went by her heart began to soften and her true spirit began to radiate. I thank god everyday for the grandmother he gave us. Till the last moment of her wittiness I will forever hold her in my heart. She was and forever will be a big part of my inspiration. One of the reasons why I truly love being a photographer is being able to capture these moments in time for us to enjoy a lifetime and for future generations. So treasure your loved ones in life, hug them, tell them you love them, for when they are gone we will only have memories and photographs to look back on🤍
