A little life update. 🤍
Closing my photography business earlier this year was one of those decisions that felt both incredibly difficult and completely right.
There’s a little bittersweetness in walking away from something you poured so much of yourself into—but I’ve learned that saying no to something that no longer fits your life can be just as important as saying yes to what comes next.
I will always love photography. It has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. My love for documenting life started with video when I was young, grew into an interest in photography and developing film in high school, and eventually led to a camera in my hands and photographing weddings and so many other special moments.
That part of me isn't going anywhere.
I'll keep picking up a camera. I'll keep grabbing my phone. I'll keep taking videos, capturing experiences, documenting the little moments, and sharing pieces of life with the world.
Maybe I didn't really leave photography behind.
Maybe I just stopped making it my business. 🤍
Sometimes moving forward means letting go of one version of your life while carrying the things you love into the next one.
And that's okay. 🌿✨
