I am the Photographer/Owner of "Beyond the Gates Photo" I started my journey into the hobby of photography in 1994, experementing through the years to find my passion. I discovered that I truely enjoyed photographing nature but also loved to photograph people... I worked for 3 years in a major studio chain and decided that It was not for me. I wanted to photograph People in natural settings! I beleive that photographing in a natural setting captures the true nature of the person, their personality, traits, joys, passions, etc...making for some truely unique portraits to be treasured for generations to come! I am so grateful that this family has trusted me for years to capture their milestones and bring me along with them on their journey through life! I enjoy watching these twins grow through the years! They are so full of energy and life and so much curiosity. Their sessions always fill my heart with joy! We had so much fun exploring at Hanley farm today. Even a kitten decided it wanted to join the family for photos.

I finally made it out to Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm this past weekend for their Sumer Blooms and Sunflower fields and it did not disappoint! I can't wait to do some sessions there next year!
