Morning Mantra: “Your self-worth depends on you, not what others say or think about you.”

If you’ve never read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz I encourage you to do so. It is a simple, yet profound, way to live life. One of the agreements is “Don’t take anything personally.”

As difficult as this is, it is necessary to remember that nothing others do is because of you. What they say and do is a projection of their OWN reality.

You honestly can’t change how people treat you or what they say about you anyways. All you can only control your reaction to it. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others you won’t play a victim or the villain in their story.

Morning Mantra: "You can't litter negativity everywhere you go, then wonder why you have a trashy life."

You reap what you sow. If you put negativity out there, that's what will come back to you. So don't act so surprised when it does.

Being positive doesn't mean you'll never feel negative or have negative things happen, it means you will recognize it and overcome it.

It means you experience the negative with the understanding that you have a choice in how you respond.

You'll never have a positive life with a negative mind.

someone having a tougher day than you.
There is always someone trying to be positive in the face of a battle.
There is always someone that needs love and support.
There is always someone that needs to be lifted as life takes them down.

Be the one that helps.
Be the one that inspires them to try one more time.
Be the one who doesn't judge.
Be the light in the darkness.
