This was the only family I got to photograph at the Capitol this year. The cherry blossoms only lasted three days! 🌸 The delicate petals didn't stand a chance against the heat and wind, so I had to cancel all my other sessions. 😭 So grateful this sweet family squeezed in their session just in time.

is an incredible photographer so I felt honored when she asked me to take her family's photos. The twist was that she was hoping I would shoot the session on her camera because she wanted to try out her new lens. She shoots Nikon and I shoot Canon, so there was definitely a bit of a learning curve for me. I figured it out though and was pretty thrilled with how the photos turned out! The orchard was at its peak and was stunning! 🌸
