Why do I do this job?
It isn’t the money. It isn’t because I didn’t have another choice. It isn’t because it’s convenient.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to do a job that touches peoples lives. As I grow older, I know how important connection is. Human connection, connection with nature and yourself. And the fact that I can be a part of that for someone, multiple people, it’s healing for me and I really think this is what I was meant to do.
Some of you don’t know it, but when we are at your wedding, and you say, expect a call from me when we find out we’re pregnant” and then when we do maternity photos, you say “expect a call from me when the baby is born, and so on, I don’t see signs. I see human beings, living their lives, doing their best, and trusting me to be there to document it. How could I possibly ask for a better job?
When you hire me, you’re not just hiring a photographer. You’re hiring a real human, in fact, you’re hiring an empath, someone who will cry with you someone who will laugh with you someone that is real, and has every intention on bringing your vision to life. 🤎
