This space on the internet has changed so much over the years, it’s more complex and I’m not sure if there is still a place for single imagery to stand up anymore. But I still believe a simple clean and beautiful image is worth a lot. Fall family photo session have started and since I’m not 40+ weeks pregnant this year I’m taking on new clients. I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family yesterday and even though it was super hot all day it cooled off just for them. It was perfect! Always a privilege to be trusted to preserve these sweet fleeting moments in time.

Holding onto the Christmas spirit over here. The last couple months have been interesting and given new perspectives. My husband broke his collarbone in a serious bike accident and this experience caused my focus to change. I’ve learned so much that I’ve taken for granted in the past and having him safe with us this Christmas meant even more now. At the risk of sounding cliche life is beautifully messy. The more time goes by the more I realize it’s 100% supposed to be that way. I hope y’all had a beautiful, messy, crazy and fun Holiday Season!

What helps you get into the Christmas season? For me it’s a number of things; colder weather, decorations going up, and talk of Santa coming. A turning from inward to outward, serving and giving joyfully to others. I look forward to this beautiful season!

When your sister becomes a senior. It was so special to take these while visiting home. I’ve watched her grow up and she has become the most beautiful young woman! Taylor you inspire me, you are stronger than you know and your light shines!
