Hanging out with Trisha + Scott is seriously like hanging out with good friends. We always have so much fun together, and I can snap my fingers at Scott when he needs a little extra direction 😂

Their backyard wedding was SO freaking gorgeous! From the flowers, to the handpicked china at each person’s spot, to the food—no detail was overlooked. So much thought and love went into every little piece of their day, and it all came together perfectly. 🤍

Back from vacation and Mother Nature is already trying to make this week a rough one! ☔️

I always like to hold out until the last minute when it comes to weather because, well… Iowa is always changing its mind. 😂 So if you’re scheduled for a session this week, I’ll be keeping an eye on things and will be in touch if we need to make any changes!

We are officially off on vacation! ☀️

You might see a few things pop up on my stories throughout the week, but I won’t be responding to much else. A week on the lake with my family is exactly what we all need.

Did we play all the games within the first ten minutes? You bet! 😂

I will always play the games with your kids. I might be sweating like crazy by the end, but let’s be real, that’s just my normal lol.

The kids run the session and I’m just there to capture all the fun! It’s always best to go into your session with an open mind, let go of the expectations, and just let kids be…kids.

Run, play, be silly, take a snack break if we need to. Those are usually the moments that make the best photos anyway!

I love getting to document so many family farms and hearing the history behind each one.

Every building you see in these photos was built and/or redone by the family, which makes getting to photograph it all even more special.

Never hesitate to ask if you want to document your family farm! Whether it’s been in the family for generations or it’s something you’re building from the ground up, it deserves to be documented.

Another Gravel baby to snuggle on 🥰

I feel a baby boom coming on! I’ve been busy with back to back to back maternity sessions lately, and they are definitely some of my favorites!

We are back from our weekend away at the cabin, but gearing up for a full unplugged week in MN soon! Until then, it’s back to sessions, editing, and getting all the things done before we go 😂
