Lucky to be able to photograph this family again 🧡🍁🍂 Love to see mama and her children’s smiles and laughter.
I always gravitate to posting moms and their children. My mother died unexpectedly when I was 26. I had been on a European work trip for 6 hours when I got the call. I had talked to her a few hours before and then got the message that she was gone.
I still needed her so much. She was my first and last call of the day. My first love. Her kindness and sense of humor was infectious. She had touched so many through her creativity, best frosted cookies and beautiful artwork.
Every time I photograph a mother and child it’s always a little bit beautifully heartbreaking. But I know she’s watching over me and my family…always.
Hug your mother tight. Savor every moment with her. Get the photos done. You’ll treasure them always.
And if she’s gone, know that in that beautiful meadow as the sun is going down behind the mountain, she’ll be with you. 🧡🍂🍁
