Edwin Photography Street Photography... The beautiful thing about Street is, the images you see will have only happene The pleasure I get is from TIME. What you felt like.

As fun as it is to post images and get a "Like" for acknowledgement. The moment the image happens is priceless. That moment in time will never happen again. That has been proven to me over and over again when I see a photo 1 year, 5 years, even ten years later. That's when you are transferred back to that moment instantly. The temperature. What you smelled. What you touched. Who and what you LOVED

. Remembering someone in passing. That vacation or travels. It all comes back

How I know this is such, is when I get a notice from FB that someone shared a photo or makes it their profile pic. Years later and buried deep in one of my old albums. Someone is reliving that moment. To me that is the true REWARD of the photograph!

Some great shots from all over the world. I could spend hours looking at cultures and the animals presented. I love Asia. I want to go back with my full kit. A few of the photos here will show you why.

I'm actually starting to learn their habits. For an hour I was within 20 feet of the tree 15 of them were nesting in. I silently moved in as they flew in groups of three to get food. Soon after a lady with a camera stomped her way down the path to get a picture and they all flew off. Hey lady, it doesn't work like that. :-)

Fort Madison... We went to get wagyu steaks. Atlas Smokehouse was the only place this side of the state. It was worth the trip to also get to capture this piece of history with the camera.

Jordan Bruce rolled back through town last weekend and put on one hell of a show at Dicks Tap. Other local talent such as Ryan Phelan were on for the assist. I have to say, for the encore Phelan knocked a rendition of Boz Scaggs "Low Down" completely out of the park! He had everyone ROCKIN!

Supermoon November 14, 2016. I tried something different tonight. Close-ups. This is actually a full color image. I don't think I have ever had my tripod and myself in such a contorted position to shoot at the angle I had to. This was from the hill at Ellis park with my EF 100-400 set at 400. If you look close on a computer, you can see the lunar rover and the American flag - lower right. :-)

Of all the photographers that I follow and try to emulate, most are NatGeo photogs. The likes of Steve McCurry, Mattias Klum, Paul Nicklen. By heart I am a Street Photographer that loves to catch the candid moment of people, Wildlife and Places. I have graduated from The New York Institute of Photography with 20 plus years experience so the technical, analytical, composition and perspective I have honed and have become pretty good at. Polo.d from Thailand is my absolute favorite. She has her own creative style that is notable and extremely impressive to me. I can join a challenge and if one of her images comes up in my voting feed (they are anonymous when voting) I can usually tell it's hers by its uniqueness. I strive to develop this eye and creativeness. Take a moment and scroll through her images and see if you agree. This is a diamond that is being polished and polish and polished that without a doubt will be a name we will all know in the industry in the future. I find myself looking at her images and thinking,"what made her think to do that?" Check it out and see what I mean... [Warning, some images are for a Mature Audience!]
