🍂 It’s FALL mini session season! 🍂

The kids are back in school, the routines are settling in, and somehow we’re ALL suddenly ready for cozy sweaters, changing leaves, and fall photos. 🤎 I’ve already gotten so many messages about fall minis, so here are all the details!

✨ Fall Mini + Evergreen Mini Sessions will open September 4th at 7 PM! I will post right here on IG and FB!✨

Past clients will have priority booking for the first 48 hours, and then any remaining spots will open to everyone else. If you’re hoping to snag a spot, mark your calendar! 🗓️

🍂 October 3rd & 4th — Cedar Rapids
🍂 October 23rd — Coralville/North Liberty area
🌲 November 1st & 15th — Evergreen Minis in Cedar Rapids
(In place of the tree farm this year!)

I wanted to give everyone a little extra notice this year so you have time to check those school, sports, and family calendars and find a date that works best for your crew. Once you choose your time, please take a quick peek at your calendar before booking to make sure it’s a good fit—we want to keep those fall evenings as smooth as possible! 🤎

These are for immediate family, milestones, maternity, or even a quick senior session. No extended families.

Final locations for each date will be announced as we get closer and the leaves start doing their beautiful fall thing. 🧡🍂

I truly cannot wait for all the cozy, beautiful, slightly chaotic fall evenings ahead and especially all the familiar faces I’ll get to see again this year. 🥰

Summer family sessions around here have looked a little like this lately…

Storms rolling in 🌧️
Heat waves making us question all of our life choices 🥵
Wildfire haze and poor air quality 😭
Reschedule texts flying back and forth.
And lots of refreshing the weather app hoping for a miracle. 😂

But you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Because on the other side of all those weather reschedules are the families I get to spend my summer evenings with. The kids who show up full of personality, the parents who are just trying to keep everyone smiling, the snuggles, the giggles, the wild little moments…and all the beautiful chaos in between.

These sessions aren’t always perfectly timed or perfectly weathered, but they are so worth it.

I’m just really grateful for this business and hanging out with your families, watching your kids grow, and freezing these little pieces of summer in time. 🤍

So bring on the heat, the storms, the reschedules and the unpredictable Iowa weather. A huge thank you to all my amazing clients completely understanding that as much as h would love to, I don’t control the weather.

One of my favorite traditions each year is welcoming back the families who have trusted me with their memories time and time again. Seeing your kids grow, meeting new siblings, and hearing all about what this past year has brought is something I look forward to every season.

“I cant believe how quick summer has gone by!” The first thing everyone says right now when you ask how summer is going. I met some amazing new families this summer and also got to spend time with a lot of repeat clients which is alway a treat! I can’t wait to meet the next member of this crew!

Remaining FULL session including late SUMMER/FALL SESSIONS will open to past and current clients tomorrow night at 7pm. If you want that booking link comment below. If you’ve already reached out you’re already set! Any spots not booked by next Friday will be open to everyone else.
