Life is an adventure that I enjoy capturing photographically as I venture through it. Thanks for joining me on the trip! I am a wedding, portrait and fine art photographer in central Texas. I have been serving Cedar Park and the Texas Hill Country area since 2012. I operate an on location studio ready to serve your needs at the location of your choosing. My focus is on you and the moments that mak

e your day the lasting memories of a lifetime. Your special occasions are often once in a lifetime and I would love to assist you with preserving them. Please let me know how I can help you capture your photographic dreams today. I have been taking photos since my grandfather first lent me his Fuji rangefinder in high school. I learned how to develop black and white film at that time and my great aunt, who managed the Studer's store in San Antonio, lent me her Pentax K1000. I used that camera to hone my eye and developed a love of photography as I shot photos for a local paper, our school paper and yearbook. I continued taking photos into college and beyond, but always for personal purposes. Over the years friends and family would ask me to do a random photo session for them or suggested that I offer my fine art work for sale, so I created Steve Coyle Photography. You can contact me directly through my website to inquire about my services. All of the photos you see on my website are available for purchase. My session fees start at $99. Today I shoot with Nikon professional cameras and a variety of lenses to capture the looks I'm looking for. Take a moment to look through my portfolios and check out my photo blog where I add photos from my life. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you. Looking for local photographers who offer wedding photography packages? For wedding photography prices, call Steve Coyle Photography.

Portland Head
Portland Head Lighthouse has been on my list of places I wanted to photograph for quite a while. When we began planning our trip to Maine I looked for a place we could stay close to the lighthouse. Luckily the day we planned to make the trip to the lighthouse we had wonderful weather. One of the nicest days we had seen this spring. Of course there were lots of other tourists enjoying the day too, but to be able to photograph this place on such a beautiful day was a real joy. Mash Fork
This is Mash Fork Waterfalls found in Camp Creek State Park. This is one of 2 waterfalls in the state park and an easy walk from the campground. The rhododendrens behind the falls were beginning to bud when we were there but had not yet bloomed. I imagine if we were there a week or 2 later they would have been in full bloom. If we ever have a chance to visit the area again I will try to make our arrival a few weeks later. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevecoylephotography.com)

Upper Falls
Walking the trails in Hocking Hills State Park made me feel like I was in Hobbit Land. The stone bridges over the falls really impressed me. I sure didn't feel like I was in Ohio. Definitely a park worthy of a visit. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevecoylephotography.com)

Alabama Sunset
In November we were working our way to the Gulf Coast and stayed in Meaher State Park in Alabama. I was wondering if we'd get a nice sunset while we were at the park and how it would look since I-10 was going to be in any sunset photo from the park. I was not disappointed the evening we got this sunset. I believe the I-10 bridge actually added a little to the scene. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevecoylephotography.com)

Dreaming about the Oregon coast.

We stopped at this overlook on the Pacific Coast Highway in Oregon several years ago. I have been dreaming of a return ever since. One of the prettiest places I've ever been and there are miles and miles of pull outs along the highway for beautiful views. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevec...

Went digging through some old photos after a friend reminded me of one I took several years ago that actually landed in my 2020 calendar but I never shared anywhere else. Click on the photo to read about it and where it was taken.

A friend of mine shared that she was in Sequoia National Park recently, but due to 6 feet of snow she was unable to drive up to see the sequoia. It reminded me of the drive to the part of the park that the sequoia live. I lost count of the number of switchbacks we had to drive through to reach the s...

It was a windy day on Lake Superior when I captured this scene in late August. The waves were crashing into the rocks on the shore. I can almost hear them now. There are numerous roadside stops along the Great Lakes. This one was close to Au Train Michigan. Get out of your vehicle and take a walk on one of the many beaches surrounding the lakes. Never know what you may see or experience. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevecoylephotography.com)

Hope all of you are off to a good start in 2026. I was wrapping up 2025 when I enjoyed this scene in Gulf Shores Alabama.

With 2025 coming to an end, I was fortunate to be at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama for this sunset over Middle Lake. Gulf State Park is a wonderful park in the Alabama State Parks system with thousands of acres and 28 miles of trails. One of the trails leads to this lookout point and has b...

After a 5 year hiatus I have decided to put together another calendar for 2026. This year's theme is American Waterfalls. The calendar includes images of waterfalls I have photographed across the country. Some have actually made it onto Facebook, but others will be seen for the first time in the calendar. I really appreciate your support in any purchases of the calendar that you make.

A collection of waterfall images from across America. Including images from the Pacific Northwest, the Great Lakes and the Gulf Coast region.

Superior Hurricane
I have not often seen where one body of water flows into another, but this was on one of our recommended stops on our tour of Painted Rocks National Lakeshore. This is the point the Hurricane River flows into Lake Superior. The North Country National Scenic Trail goes through Painted Rocks National Lakeshore and this is the point it crosses the Hurricane River. How would you like to be on the trail and come upon this view? I think I would stop and admire it for a while which is just what I did.
