Santa Claus visited Impact Family Wellness in Cedar Park to hear some wish lists from some really really good kids yesterday. There were smiles all around ... more pics to come. Monica McKitterick and her medical crew help keep local families healthy with their amazing and responsive care for their clients. Santa's visit was a chance to help raise funds for Williamson County CASA.

Took a walkabout this morning in 12 degree weather (I didn't check the windchill!). Plenty of beautiful white snow and a frozen pond. I wasn't the first one out, but I only passed two neighbors walking their dogs. (My power is still out - going on 9 hours now). Stay as warm as you can and enjoy the snow!

I love our town. It's been good, over nearly 2 decades, to watch this city grow - with enough heads in beds to attract good restaurants, shopping and a wide array of businesses. Here's one light-hearted way our local chamber is celebrating local businesses: Tony On The Shelf, from our long-time president of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce.

We are excited to introduce "Tony On The Shelf!" Tony on the Shelf is the elf version of our President & CEO, Tony Moline. Each day Tony will check in to a different Chamber business to support shopping local this holiday season. Today he is getting everything ready by decorating his Charlie Brown Christmas Tree and plugging in his A Christmas Story Leg Lamp. Check in with him this time tomorrow to see which Chamber business he is supporting.

Opportunities to enjoy nature, to grow and learn exist, always. Even during this time. I took these photos before covid19 was a thing that limited what and where we could go. This short photo series is me finding time to enjoy a day at the Blue Hole in Wimberley. I had some quiet time before a group showed up. I thought, ah, there goes the peace. But, it turned out, I just had to wait, watch and listen. And I loved what I saw.

Lovely colors + fantastic Senior + beautiful session. With all the craziness around us, celebrating all our high school seniors' beautiful smiles and milestones can still happen. Glad this took place before social distancing began, and looking forward to posting pics from Taylor's spring session too.

Hey there, my lovelies. Happy Friday, which also seems to be empty-the-shelves day in a wonky dance of fear and preparation.
With all the empty shelves and long lines in the grocery stores, it's a good time to breathe and take a big picture view of your life. The sometimes messy view of our day-to-day life can ease to a bigger and beautiful view of what we do have in our lives and who we hold close to our hearts.
May you find the grace to share your toilet paper and the joys you have in life with those around you more than your germs or your fears. Both spread with equal speed.
Take care of yourself, your family and where you can, your neighbors. And let your eagle's view serve to anchor you through the plus-size Spring Break Plus of 2020. 🤟🏼

Spring is right around the corner and so is senior graduation. Everything is fresh and fun and the temps are warming up - a perfect time to get your senior portraits done! What a great night - celebrating the nearly 150 seniors who participate in Friday night Lights - the football players, the Band and Color Guard, Cheer, Choir, Star Steppers, Sports Medicine and NJROTC.
Plus the team secured their spot for post-season play. Congratulations!

Emily transferred into Leander HS as an incoming senior. This spunky beauty handled the transition amazingly, keeping her hometown friends and making new ones here.
I wish her the very best as she's decided to keep Austin as her town and be a Longhorn. UT has a good one with Emily!
