Hi! It’s me 👋🏼
I have been terrible about posting lately so I figured I’d share a little Summer recap & life update! If you’re curious what my typical schedule is like as an underwater photographer, read on. Otherwise, TDLR: my schedule is a bit CRAZY. 😂
Summer was easy-paced and quite chill - I enjoyed an unusual amount of free weekends, spending time with friends and family and getting to work on some big projects like our annual Splash About Official photo shoot, a UT student film, and a mix of the usual - kids, photo booths, swimmers, mermaids, maternity and music videos. I even made some time for some personal projects — proud of myself for that.
This Fall came in HOT with one trip after another and the momentum is still going strong. I had a quick trip up to the Ozarks to photograph a new waterpark for my new client AQUA CREEK PRODUCTS. Swim Schools are keeping me busy, busy — I’ve been bouncing coast to coast making stops in CA, AZ, RI, CT, back to CA and am currently on a flight with Matt to Orlando for the United States Swim School Conference. I always look forward to this annual event — I LOVE the swim school industry and am so grateful to be a part of the community.
After the conference, I fly straight to Merida, Mexico where I will be checking off a big bucket list item — getting my free diving certification during an 8-day workshop hosted by alma.libre.mx in the Cenotes. Not only will I be getting certified, I’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with the hosts and guests to create more art in a stunning natural environment. I can’t wait!
Then a much needed 3 day break to rest and enjoy Dia de Los Mu***os in Merida. I’ve heard it’s an amazing place to experience the holiday celebrations.
By then, the trip will only be half over! I’ll carry on to Tulum where Freediver Model and I will be hosting underwater workshops for the following 10 days. We have a wonderful group of photographers and models and I can’t wait to show them how beautiful it is to create in the Cenotes.
The 2nd half of Nov. brings more uw projects at home and hopefully a restful Dec. 😌
In summary, life in the water has been good and I am forever grateful! 🩵
