It’s now been 10yrs since me and Caressa Frietz sealed the deal, and nearly 12 since we first met. It’s been such a wild journey. Big highs, lows and everything in between. We’ve got two, incredibly amazing kids, a home and so much more than I ever dreamed I could have. Sometimes, I lay in bed thinking how fortunate I am to have met such an amazing women that has enabled me to build the life we have. Thank you Caressa Frietz for being the LOML. Let’s shoot for another 10yrs, you know, see what else can happen 😘

Today’s the day! Our boy nate wade is finally getting hitched!!Earlier this year, the crew got together for not the most traditional bachelor party, but we do what we know. So glad that we could send our guy off the right way 😏😏 MEGAN MCBRIDE, you take care of him now, and from time to time, you might have to lend him to us for a few days 😜

Pamela Shanti Pack on “Unholy Grail”
Spent the other weekend with Pam and team documenting this climb that she FA’d some time ago. It demands commitment, solid nerves, skin and blood. After witnessing the pain and struggle she went through to send this for me, it’s no surprise that to this day, it hasn’t been repeated. Anyone feel up to the challenge??

Deep in Heaps -
I dusted off my canyoneering gear and headed to Zion over the weekend to tick off a canyon I’ve been wanting to do for years. With all the rain Utah’s been getting, I knew Heaps would be on “easy” mode, but never would’ve imagined just how much water would be in the canyon. Hours of swimming and overcoming obstacles added up to a full 15hr day of exploring. Shout out to my crew, Austin Whitaker and Nathaniel Breedlove for an amazing time!

Day at the track 🏍️🏁
Took the Sony | Alpha 600mm for a walk at Jordan River OHV State Park this weekend. Whip shots at such a long focal range are tricky to get, but when they work out, they’re something special! Thx to Valerie Festavan for the invite, killer time!

on his newest FA, Bone Saw (9a/9a+)
Last October I found myself in St George, fresh off my last knee surgery, and had the chance to hit the cave with Joe, Rollin and Cam. Joe was still working out the kinks on this thing. Watching him through the camera make these moves, especially the 360 spin in the middle, was amazing to see. Fast forward to a week ago, he got the send! Mega congrats to him. The strength, dedication and perseverance on a route like this is something so few have 💯
