This sweet two-year-old spent 20 minutes showing me everything he loved about Toy Story. We sang songs, played, explored, and followed his lead.

✨ Oh, Ava. ✨

It hardly seems possible that the sweet little newborn I photographed years ago is now packing her bags and heading to college. I have had the privilege of documenting Ava's journey from those tiny baby curls and sleepy snuggles to the confident, beautiful young woman she is today. And now, she's off to begin an exciting new chapter at University of Missouri.

Every session with Ava was a joy. She was always willing to trust our ideas, laugh through the awkward moments, embrace the unexpected, and give her mom and me the most incredible images. She has truly been one of those clients who reminds me why I love what I do.

One of the greatest gifts of being a photographer isn't just capturing a single milestone—it's being invited back again and again to witness a life unfold. While I absolutely adore maternity and newborn sessions, there is something incredibly special about watching those tiny babies grow into children, teenagers, and eventually amazing young adults ready to take on the world.

The years pass so quickly. One day you're rocking them to sleep, and before you know it, you're celebrating senior year and dreaming about all that's ahead for them.

Thank you, Ava, and thank you to your family, for allowing me to be a small part of your story all these years. It has been an honor to watch you grow, and I cannot wait to see where life takes you next.
