Guys I had such a funny experience on Friday at this gorgeous wedding

Everyone was Spanish speaking and hell yeah- I don’t really know Spanish at all but I know how to photograph a wedding.

So, I’m just doing my thing rolling with the punches UNKNOWING that people were trying to talk to me but they were speaking in Spanish

So, after we got done with family and couples portraits I apologize like “hey I’m really sorry I don’t speak Spanish” and someone else goes “we just all thought you were Latina and assumed you spoke Spanish”

And I DIED laughing. 1. That’s my highest form of compliment that I get. 2. The language barrier the entire time turned out to be non-existent 🤣🤣🤣

I can’t wait to share photos 🤍

Edited to add: gonna sign me up for some Duolingo bc this ceremony was literally so emotional and beautiful and I’d love to do more

When Alex first reached out about wanting to organize a flash mob proposal for DeAna and asked me to photograph it, I was all in from the very first message.

Together, we planned a “creative shoot” at Christopher Farm & Gardens. Alex worked with the Sheboygan North Varsity Dance Team team for the choreography. DeAna thought she was coming for a styled session with another photographer, a model, and my assistant. Little did she know, every single person there was part of the surprise and there to help capture one of the biggest moments of her life.

Watching it all come together was emotional in the best way. The love, excitement, and pure joy on their faces is something I’ll never forget.

My heart is so full for these two. If anyone deserves a lifetime of love and happiness, it’s Alex and DeAna. 💍✨

I cannot wait to share photos from this unforgettable day 😭😭
