I saw the most tender moment this week that has had me thinking about siblings. A girl who was worried that her brother was lost, found him. In fact, he was never lost. He was at home. But when she saw him, she ran to him and grabbed him into the fiercest of hugs and sobbed tears of relief. I haven't stopped thinking about it since. It's the duality of sibling relationships-they fight, they annoy each other, but they cling to each other too and love deeply.

The other great part of the story was that the brother just stood there being squeezed for five minutes looking confused 😂

This session yesterday made me fall in love again with in-home sessions!!! Don't get me wrong, I love outdoor sessions, but home just feels so cozy ❤️ I will be raising my prices in 2022, but because I want to shoot more in-home sessions, I will be offering those for my current prices. You can totally do in-home sessions in vacation rentals too!

We started working on our laundry room yesterday! I was going to say updating, but can you update a space that has never been finished? It has never been painted so the walls are unfinished dry wall. There used to be multiple small holes in the wall along with one giant one that was about one square foot. Happily the holes are no more! And even though we still need to do a lot more in the space, that one fix looks so good! Next step-paint!
