Clint's Dreamography I am a Lightchaser, living in Cedar City my whole life I have always felt inclined to capture my surroundings. So now I present Clint's Dreamography. CE

I picked up my first camera in 1999 mainly shooting landscapes and good times with my friends, and from then on my passion and love for finding the light and good on this earth and in the people upon it. "The moments we live are priceless, but the moments we create are Endless."

The Leaves are getting really good up on the mountain. A couple of my favorite spots are at their peak and wont be for very long. I have a few spots available for family pictures and my all day family session on sunday had to reschedule so I would hate to see sunday morning and late afternoon go to waste. Dm if interested.

Although the saying, being in the right place at the right time can ring true in some cases. But my experience over the last 22 years of chasing light with a camera in my hand is that of, it's all about finding the right place and waiting for the right moment. This sunset was more of a combination of both. I had a good idea of where I wanted to be for sunset but because of the ridiculous hailstorm that swept through Iron county that evening, an old friend and I were required to take shelter in the trees and let the storm pass over the mountain which in turn made me short on time to reach the destination I had in mind, but I returned to one of my favorite spots and well, things worked out in my favor. And like a lot of times in life enduring horrible storms result in beautiful Blessings.

Over the years I have noticed that so many clients want their seniors pictures in the spring, that being said I totally understand that the flowers that are blossoming are wonderful and maybe it was just put off, but there is a lot of complications that come with that. For one the amount of sessions and editing to be completed for announcements, but the biggest one is the wind. The wind in the spring in southern utah is horrendous. Personally, I am very fond of the grass when it is golden.

Finally starting to cool off here in Cedar, I am so excited for the best season of the year.

A few months ago I ran into an old friend and he asked me why I don't share my art. I could not gather a good explanation for that question, and although I do have several Issues with how I am allowed to post, this question has really been chipping away at me. I keep coming back to a concerning thought and I truly hope that none of you that I have had the pleasure of photographing, have ever thought that I don't post your pictures because I am unhappy with the outcome. In fact in the 20+ years I can only think of one session I was not happy with and that was because of weather. Anyway I am going to start posting my art and I hope it can bring some joy into this dark world. And who better to start with other than my beautiful daughter.

A little with a couple shots from last years assignment for the the school districts new website./Being an empath can be difficult at times but also rewarding. Observing people and their energies can be heart swelling. I have spent the last six weeks updating fire alarm and have witnessed some very interesting and extraordinary behavior. First to see this age of kids in their social element has been entertaining, humorous and terrifying. But to watch the staff with their sincerity in the care for our children has been, well, humbling. I have very few heroes, Christ, my wife, Michael Jordan, my parents. But for a long time I have admired teachers for so many reasons. I would like to give a shoutout to some of the real heroes in the real world, to the whole school district staff and to the teachers who sacrifice and put up with so much to help guide and influence these little souls.

Several weeks ago a Belgium man and his son enjoyed this wonderful place for a moment, but on the way back to the trailhead the 49 year old passed away leaving his son on this mortal existence. Now as much as I’d like to talk about some of problems and bizarre issues that I encounter while out on patrol I’ll save them for another time. Almost everyday I have thought about that young fatherless teenager. For some reason I have dealt with an enormous amount of loss, and the loss of life has been the most devastating. I have witnessed SO MANY people around me encounter such travesties in the last couple of years. I hope that we all can regain our footing, keep our heads to the 🌌 and I pray we can find what we are looking for.
