𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨.....𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨.....𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨
I used to struggle a lot with detail shots - I felt like you needed to see the "whole picture" to 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 the picture. Clearly that is not the case, and I really enjoy trying to find new angles. Especially when it comes to capturing green horses, I need to rely more on creative angles than maneuver shots!

𝘾𝘼𝙈𝘽𝙍𝙄𝘼𝙎 𝙈𝙄𝘿𝙉𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏 𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙑𝙀𝙇𝙀𝙍
I couldn't help but share Paladin's liberty pictures from the Odell Show Horses media day! Paladin was a joy to have in front of my camera, and I could not say enough good things about this stallion! 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴, 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺, 𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦, 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, the list goes on. I never had the opportunity to shoot a Gypsy Vanner before Paladin, and he set the bar pretty high 🤩
I will gladly take ALL the Gypsy Vanners for more shoots because WOW ♡ There is plenty more to come from his shoot as well!

𝙊𝙎𝙃 𝙈𝙍 𝘽𝙊𝙅𝘼𝙂𝙉𝙇𝙀𝙎
I had the incredible opportunity to fly to Odell Show Horses to visit and capture some lovely ponies. We spent the 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 day shooting from sun up to sun down - and I wouldn't rather have it any other way. ♡
One of the stars of the shoot was "Samuel" - a Gypsian stallion. His liberty photos are unlike any other images I have ever captured, and dare I say some of the BEST I have ever captured. It was an honor to have him in front of my camera!
I have mostly focused on stock horses, and I had to learn really quickly how to adjust to shooting new movements (and a lot of hair) 😋 I could not be more proud to share these images, and there is more to come! Thank you to Odell Show Horses / and Lindsay Rochelle Odell for having me out, it really is true when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life (especially when you have such great friends who support you) ♡
