Like most my age our picture taking probably started with a Kodak 110 instamatic or a Polaroid. I did not take a lot of pictures but the ones I took were mostly friends an family. After joining the Marine Corps I wanted to show my family the place's I'd been. Tha

t meant a better camera. My first Canon was an AE-1. In the mid 80's Canon went auto focus and I jumped in with both feet. Starting with a Canon EOS 650 with some lens and adding a second body and EOS 620. My hobby took off. I would do a wedding or two and some wild life photography. I also coached track & field and enjoyed photographing the athlete's competing. One day on the way home from work I saw a huge Whitetail buck. I hurried home grabbed my camera and went looking. The buck came up out of the river walking right at me. When canon made the move to digital we jumped in. Since then we have updated our equipment to stay current an now feel it's more than just a hobby. I hope you enjoy the content of our page. If there's something you would like to see more of. I had a little time to sit on the porch today. Another busy day at our feeders. I was worried about our white headed Junco. We hadn't seen it in over a week. This is also the third year we have had Blue birds all winter. As the weather breaks, I'll have time to hit some back roads.
