Our Story

The face behind the camera, keyboard, and editing program: Stacey.

Hi there! I'm Stacey Hamilton. I sole owner, and operator of SMT Photography. I have been married to my soul mate since 2013 , and I have the cutest, orniest, happies little boy, and two dogs, and a cat! I also have a baby girl on the way, due in August of 2020! I have a deep love for traveling, coffee, house/indoor plants, crafting, carpentry, vintage cameras and gardening.

I started this business in June of 2011. I have been blessed beyond measure since then. I, of course, have had clients come and go, but it's those special ones that keep coming back that I appreciate to the bottom of my heart every day! They are the ones that keep me going in this business, and I can’t ever thank them enough. In April of 2019, I announced that not only would I be a portrait photographer, but also lifestyle. If you want smiling photos at the camera for EVERY shot, I may not be your girl! I’m known to yell “tickle your brother until he pees his pants”, throw your kids around, and tell some pretty funny jokes (they aren’t funny, and might make you think I’m losing my mind, and that’s okay!) My goal as a photographer is not only to give you quality images, but to give you a quality experience. The #1 comment I hear back from clients is always a thank you for making it fun.

PHOTOGRAPHING OUTDOOR HOURS: Monday - Thursday: Spring/Summer: 5pm-7pm | Fall - 3pm-5pm : : Times May Vary. Friday - CLOSED Saturday - Sunday: Same hours as above. Newborns are scheduled early afternoon, Monday - Thursday within the first 15 days of the babe’s life, no exceptions. Weekend appointments are very limited, and often book out MONTHS in advance. I do a majority of my sessions Monday-Thursday, late evenings during the summer, and early afternoons during the winter.
