📸 The final click isn’t the end… it’s just the beginning.

A lot of people think that once the camera stops clicking, the majority of the work is done. But in reality, this is what most of my nights look like. 🤍

Going through galleries, choosing the best images, adjusting every little detail, editing colors, lighting, skin tones, and making sure each photo feels just right before it ever makes its way to you.

The session may only be an hour or two, but there’s so much more that happens behind the scenes that you don’t always get to see. ✨

Late nights, hundreds of photos, my computer running nonstop, and of course… a Diet Coke because apparently that’s part of the editing process. 😂🥤💻

So when you get your final gallery, just know there’s a whole lot of time, attention, and love that went into every single image. 🤍📸

This weekend, I’m trading in my laptop and camera for a little getaway. Sometimes it’s nice to step away for a couple of days and enjoy making memories from the other side of the camera. 📸✨

Meet the girl behind the camera. 🤎📸

Hi, I’m Emilee the face behind Emilee’s Captured Moments Photography!

If you’ve recently started following along, I figured it was finally time to introduce myself.

A few fun facts about me:
🤎 I work full-time at the hospital, and photography is what fills my heart on my days off.
📸 I’m the person who will probably make you laugh, tell you exactly what to do with your hands, and promise you don’t have to know how to pose.
🥤 I’m convinced Diet Coke makes every day better.
🌅 You’ll almost always find me chasing golden hour for that dreamy light.
📺 When I’m not editing photos, I’m probably rewatching Grey’s Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, or Gossip Girl (for what feels like the hundredth time).

Photography has become so much more than taking pictures for me. It’s about preserving the little moments that become your favorite memories, and I’m so thankful that so many of you trust me to capture them.
